Read two of the books from the suggested reading list. Then write a friendly letter to the author of each book. In the letters, you should write about your overall impressions of the book. What was your most vivid memory from the book? Who were your favorite characters? What was your favorite part of the storyline? Did the book leave you with any unanswered questions that you’d like the author to answer? Share your thoughts about the book in these two letters and bring them with you either the first or second day of school. Have a great summer and enjoy reading!
