Online Registration for Middle School Athletics

We will continue to use an online registration process for all middle school athletic teams each season (cross-country, basketball, baseball, softball, and track) this year.

The following information is critical for ALL student - athletes.  Please note that before being able to tryout or participate in a fall sport, all student-athletes must have the following on file in the main office:

·  Athletics Participation Permission Form – ONLINE REGISTRATION!

o   New online form includes the Concussion Education form and Medical History information

·         Physical Examinations – Submit a valid physical to the nurse’s office.  Physicals are valid for 13 months to the day of the exam – students with expired physicals will be ineligible to participate until a current physical is submitted.

·   Athletic User Fee (online or check) - The fee for the 2018-2018 academic year is $55.00 per participant per season. Please pay through the district ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM at http://www.nrsd.net/families/online_payment_center  OR make checks payable to your child’s middle school (Luther Burbank, Hale, Florence Sawyer). 

Student athletes must register online by 11/16/18  in order to participate in a winter sport.

If you do not have access to a computer, forms are available for pick up in the main office.

Middle School winter schedules will be available at http://www.mwlma.org (click on Nashoba Regional). Then under “View Schedules” find the sport and middle school. Check out the “Notify Me” button to sign up for notifications about games and postponements.

Tree Pickup Press Release
 

Boy Scout Christmas Tree Home Pickup Service

Another Holiday season is at hand and Stow’s Boy Scout Troop 1 is again scheduling home Christmas tree pickups (For Stow Resident’s Only) following the holidays for residents of Stow. The scouts would like to make tree disposal convenient and efficient for you.
 
Christmas tree pickup is $10 per tree and checks made payable to Troop 1 Stow can be mailed to Troop 1 Stow, PO Box 75, Stow, MA 01775 or ordered online at http://www.troop1stow.net/
 
Please make your tree pickup reservation by January 2nd. Trees will be picked up at the end of your driveway starting January 11th.
 
The scouts will appreciate your order and the proceeds will help Stow continue one of its finest youth programs and its ongoing monetary needs to support equipment purchases, camping trips and the many activities the troop engages in.

Need help wrapping presents for Hanukkah or Christmas?
The Nashoba Regional High School Band is offering a "Wrap-a-Thon" on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10 am until 2 pm in the high school cafeteria. For a suggested donation of $1/package, a NRSD Band student will wrap your gifts for you. They provide wrapping supplies, but you can bring your own if you prefer. Happy Holidays!



Mark your calendars for the upcoming holiday concert offerings from Nashoba Regional High School! 

The Nashoba Regional High School Bands and Choruses will perform their combined holiday concert on Friday, December 14
th, at 7 pm in the school auditorium. Admission for the Nashoba High School Band and Choir concert is $5 per person (seniors and students are free), payable at the door.
