Recognizing the diverse needs and uniqueness of the early adolescent, Hale Middle School provides our students with authentic, creative learning opportunities that meet each student's physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs, allowing them to maximize their potential, and preparing them to be successful in future education. Through a climate of respect and inclusiveness, curricula that go beyond the traditional academic offerings, effective communication between all members of the school community, and the use of cutting edge educational techniques, we strive to educate the whole child. Our success will result in mature, independent, confident learners, who have the tools necessary for success in their further education as well as in their roles as productive members of their community.

Principal's Message

November 23, 2022

Hello HMS Families,
Next week we will be reviewing our lockdown procedures and practicing an evacuation. Staff will prepare our students for this drill by openly sharing how we would respond to various different scenarios. We will remind students that while it is important to practice these drills the likelihood of having to actually evacuate or lockdown is low. You can help prepare your HMS student by talking with them about the importance of practicing these procedures. If you feel your child may be nervous or anxious as a result of these drills, please contact me so we can work with our counseling staff to properly prepare them.

Hale Basketball has RETURNED!!

Every student must sign up for tryouts and also have an up-to-date physical on file with our nurse. No student will be permitted to tryout without signing up and having a physical on file.
