Recognizing the diverse needs and uniqueness of the early adolescent, Hale Middle School provides our students with authentic, creative learning opportunities that meet each student's physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs, allowing them to maximize their potential, and preparing them to be successful in future education. Through a climate of respect and inclusiveness, curricula that go beyond the traditional academic offerings, effective communication between all members of the school community, and the use of cutting edge educational techniques, we strive to educate the whole child. Our success will result in mature, independent, confident learners, who have the tools necessary for success in their further education as well as in their roles as productive members of their community.

Principal's Message

Hello Hale Families,
This newsletter contains an update from each grade level team and an update from the related arts team. There is also a link to several awesome middle school camps that are taking place over the February break. Please take a look, I am certain you will find something that is of interest to your middle school child. Finally, you will see an update on the deployment in 6th grade.
As we wrap up the last school day of 2018 and prepare for the holiday I wanted to briefly reflect on how fabulous it is to work in your hometown. I am lucky to be part of a community that is committed to the education of their children. The level of support that you provide Hale Middle School is something that I have not encountered in my experience as a school administrator or teacher. The end result of this support is a reward that we can all be proud of; well prepared and well adjusted students. Thank you for all that you do to make Hale Middle School and the Town of Stow an amazing place to work and learn. I wish you a very happy holiday season.

Sincerely,
Kyle Grady, Principal
