Undefeated Season!
Congratulations to our girls basketball team for going undefeated this season (16-0)! We are working on a banner to hang in the HMS Gymnasium. Check out this photo!

Donovan Wins Scholastic Art and Writing Award
Emma Donovan won two Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. A Gold Key for her oil painting titled "Free Breath" and a Silver Key for her fashion piece Egyptian Bead Net Dress. The Gold Key painting will be considered for a national award now and hang in the Boston Museum School exhibit for the month of March.

8th Grade Parents Night at NRHS
NRHS is hosting an 8th Grade Parents Night starting at 6:30 on March 5th. The snow date is March 6th

Postural Screenings
Screenings will begin on Monday, February 24th. These are the last screenings of the school year. Contact the nursing staff with any questions.

Spring Sports Registration
Spring sports registration will open by mid March. Students will need to have an up-to-date physical on file in the Health Office. We typically start the season by April 1st. This is dependent on the conditions of the fields. I will send out the registration link in a future Hale Newsletter and post the link to our website.

8th Grade Washington DC Trip Update: 
Medical forms are coming home today. Please return them ASAP but no later than 3/14/20. If your child misplaced the forms you can find them here on our website.

Baseball Clinic:

8th Grade end of year events:

  • We have a tentative date for our 8th grade promotional ceremony. This is dependent on the last day of school which may change due to school cancellations. For now our tentative date is June 18th from 6-7pm in the HMS Auditorium

  • The 8th grade dance sponsored by the SPTO has been scheduled from 6:30 - 9pm on June 12th in the HMS Gymnasium. Details forthcoming.

  • The 8th grade class trip to Kimball Farms has been scheduled for June 12th. Details forthcoming.
